Counts the first day as day 1, so the date shown is the safe, earliest reading. Your receipt and Ulta Beauty’s terms decide.

Holiday returns
Ulta’s returns page does not mention a holiday extension, and none had been announced for 2026 when we checked.
No receipt?
You need proof of purchase unless Ulta can find the purchase in its system. If it cannot be verified, you get no refund, exchange or credit. For any return, Ulta asks for a government-issued photo ID and a phone number or email.
Refunds
Returns within 30 days go back to your original payment method. Gift card purchases come back as an Ulta gift card. Mail refunds are processed within 30 business days after the item reaches the warehouse. Card refunds can take another 7–10 days to show up.
Fees
For mail returns, you pay the return shipping, by ground methods only. Original shipping charges are not refunded. Exchanges cannot be made by mail.
- Mail returns that arrive after day 60 are not refunded and are sent back to you.
- Gift cards, single-use coupons, salon-bought wigs and hair extensions, and intimate wellness devices cannot be returned.
- Returns must include all original parts.
- Ulta may limit returns if it suspects excessive returns, reselling or fraud.
