Holiday returns
Last season, qualifying items bought 1 Nov – 31 Dec 2025 could be returned until 31 Jan 2026, with no restocking fee. No 2026 extension had been posted when we checked.
Refunds
Newegg processes a return within about 2 business days of receiving it. Money goes back to your original payment method; if that isn’t possible, Newegg mails a check. Replacements must be the same product.
Fees
Opened hard drives, motherboards, graphics cards, projectors and TVs carry a 15% restocking fee, unless the item is unopened, damaged or defective. Return labels are free for most items 50 lb or under; for heavier items return shipping is free only if the item is defective or damaged.
Marketplace sellers
The same policy types apply to items from Marketplace sellers, but a seller can add its own terms on its seller profile. Check the policy on the product page before you buy.
- Opened software, video games, consoles, consumables and digital products can’t be returned.
- You need an RMA number within the return window. Return labels expire after 14 days.
- Bundles must be returned whole. Free promotional items must also come back, or their value is deducted.
- Report shipping damage on TVs over 37 inches within 15 days of delivery.
